Carly Gambardella

Carly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has experience providing individual and group counseling across diverse settings including; a public school district, a hospital, and an in-home treatment program. She obtained her BA in Criminal Justice at Quinnipiac University and her Master of Social Work at the University of Connecticut.
Carly has worked with individuals coping with ADHD, depression, personality disorders, trauma, and anxiety. Her work draws on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices. She also utilizes interventions that support the development of social skills and conflict resolution abilities. She believes that mutual trust, respect, and care in the therapeutic relationship are key ingredients to making therapy successful. When she is not working, Carly enjoys hiking, reading, spending time with her family, and playing with her dog, Lucy.
